Will Ash's Pikachu ever evolve?

I think not personally. XD It can beat legendaries, fully evolved Pokemon, but not lv 5 Snivys. It's probably too iconic to evolve as well.

Here is a theory:

Each region, Pikachu gets replaced why? Because he grows weak each new region or that he has a new Pikachu. So that means if his Pikachu has been kept, his level will be infinite.

Anyways no, Pikachu is Pokemon's mascot.
